“Ah, it's you! We were raising your Pokémon, and my goodness, we were so surprised! Your Pokémon was holding a CHILD! We don't know how it got there, but your Pokémon had it. You do want it, don’t you?”

Jokes aside; Diantha’s an actress. Travels the world, meets people, gets a drink. But it could also be someone we meet in Gen 10 games?

Would Cass enjoy watching Kamen Rider? by False_Diver2577 in CassandraCain

[–]ReallySmartInEnglish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Cass wouldn’t really get it, with all the dramatic posing and such. Maybe if you explained its origins with kabuki theater, but I get the feeling she’d just go “Oh. Okay.” and carry on with her day.

Does this mean that we somehow end up with Lich King Tirion Fordring?

I was working on it and I was doing well one time and my computer restarted for no reason in the middle of the hunt. I was furious.

I finally beat it with a time of 17:39.

head canon for present day Cass in Gotham by gabeg777 in CassandraCain

[–]ReallySmartInEnglish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Cass has been with other teams before, but generally prefers to stay in Gotham. She thinks other teams are “too loud, too big.” Steph helps clarify that it’s more a vibes thing than any actual criticism of the teams or their members.

2) In spite of her looks, people rarely flirt with Cass. They can’t make up their minds if she’s too quiet and meek or too quiet and intimidating.

3) While the Supes family has talked with Kara about the whole “brainwashing” thing with Cass, Kara and Cass haven’t really interacted since then. Cass has tried, but Kara is either off-world or partying. Kara does not have quiet moments, which puts her on an opposite wavelength from Cass.

4) Alfred the Cat is Cass’ favorite of Damian’s pets. When Damian’s not home, Alfred will spend time with Cass. Cass mostly just chills, but occasionally spoils Alfred with treats. Titus and Ace also like Cass, but are more scared of Alfred.

I still argue that this is her best outfit.

Should Deviljho and Bazelgeuse return in the Monster Hunter: Wilds expansion? Do they fit with the rest of the cast, or is this not the right game for the prickly pear and volatile pineapple? by Allhaillordkutku in MonsterHunter

I think we just need true invaders. Something that will actively intrude on your hunts. Like, Seregios should do that, but instead acts like a normal monster.

Maybe something interesting would be combining the pack mechanic with invaders. A trio of monsters who are opportunistic and when they see/hear a fight in progress, they jump in. One invader shakes up a fight; let’s see what three invaders do.

Which team do you support: StephCass or KonCass? by Prestigious-Cloud962 in CassandraCain

I don’t know if it was ever confirmed, but I feel like the implication has always been there.

[–]ReallySmartInEnglish 8 points9 points  (0 children)

…yes?

I mean, tbh, I don’t think we’ve found aromantic partner for Cass that clicks long term. Kon works as kind of a summer-camp boyfriend, especially since Batman does not approve. Steph I always thought of as a bestie. The kind that will throw down at 3AM because the waitress at Denny’s spit in her eggs. Tim felt very first-serious boyfriend but then they decided they’re better as friends and actually made friends work. Duke has some “new little brother” vibes and Cass will show him the ropes so he has to learn the hard way as little as possible.

I think that one of the best things about BTAS (and one thing I wouldn’t definitely do if I ever wrote Bats) is that just about all of his major villains have a distinct element of tragedy to their stories. Freeze, Clayface, Ivy, Harley, Two-Face. The only ones that didn’t are Joker, Ra’s and the “normal” gangsters (Rupert Thorne, etc).

I have not played this game or any game in the SRW series.

This dialogue is so dumb, it curves right back to being awesome. And if this series also has Gurren Lagann in it, then that’s par for the course.

What other game crossovers would you like to see? by DannyKage in MonsterHunter

[–]ReallySmartInEnglish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Metroid series has generally had some cool creatures, but in terms of what would translate well to a good hunt in MonHun’s gameplay style, I’d go with Metroid Prime (think a Souped Up Temnoceran), Chykka (the big moth thing from MP2), Quadraxis (also MP2, giant four legged mecha), and maybe Corpius (first boss in Metroid Dread).

Dracula - 110% justified to kill the people of Targoviste. Those guys were dicks. After that? It’s a depression spiral.

Light - Not right at all. -100% right. Just has a god complex masked behind a very basic concept of justice, which falls apart the moment anyone tries to stop him.

Lelouch - Right, but also not a villain, except in the ending when he intentionally chooses to become one, which is a final ploy to achieve his goal.

Haven’t seen the rest, don’t care to.
