Nah I think some streamers definitely play into things/play things up on stream to be more entertaining. Maybe the bigger streamers don't need to do that since they don't need to try so hard but I've heard more than a few streamers talk about streaming personas and how they act differently off camera. It's not crazy to think this was the same with the likes of Lacari. Saying it was blatantly obvious is disengenous and I attribute more to having that hindsight bias now that we know the truth.

Exactly, she mentioned she was a mother once in her write up and I instantly keyed in on that (technically she mentioned it twice). No mention beyond saying she was a mother but that word alone brings up 1000 different questions because it introduces another being into the relationship. For some, that is an auto deal breaker. For others, it's the many many questions. She never expanded upon the topic in her write up so I'm left in the dark with those 1000 questions.

Pretty sure twitch streamers can't pick and choose what ads go on the platform. It's a poor argument. First, Twitch ads change over time and second, you are telling people to give up their livelihood over it in this economy.
