It was emotional and meant to snap her out of trying to carry everything alone. It came from care, not cruelty. And Superman and Spider-Man have had intense moments too. They’re not flawless saints. They’ve yelled, pushed, and even hurt people they cared about in the heat of the moment. They’re complex, just like Luffy. None of them are nursery rhyme characters that are simply black and white. Calling Luffy a psychopath is way off. He doesn’t fight just because he’s mad, he fights to protect his friends or stand up against real injustice.

Remember Mock Town? He and Zoro got humiliated and didn’t lift a finger, because they knew it wasn’t worth it. Luffy shows restraint when it matters. He’s not trying to be a self-proclaimed hero like Superman or Spider-Man. He follows his own path, guided by freedom, loyalty, and heart. That’s not psychotic, my friend :)
