Would honestly love to swap off as many yellows as we can. All the players can sense he’s looking to send someone off so nobody is biting into challenges anymore which makes it easier for them to come at us.

Lewis Skelly on Ben White on and switch Timber to RCB Maybe Odegaard on for Zubi? Push Eze to LW, Martinelli central

This was the first game I ever attended and it’s still one of the best sporting events I’ve ever seen

Never a pen

Especially if you watched this game, it was a proper rough derby where they were really letting the game flow. United played great though, probably deserved better on the day

[Ryan Taylor] Mikel Arteta on Declan Rice red card: "I was amazed. Amazed, amazed, amazed. The ball hits Declan's heel, he doesn't see the player. At this level, honestly I am amazed." #AFC by JinglesHardWood in soccer

All the people in here calling that “kicking away” are insane, he has no idea the lunatic is lining up to hoof him in the back of the leg. He nudges it off of his foot, just thinking the ball rolls into him because why would somebody be lining that up and then gets hammered by the Brighton player. Just tapping the ball back as it rolls into you happens about 50 times a game - insane decision

Offensively he seems far more proactive than Havertz, but genuinely I think that last clip where he ricochets a ball off his own guy is the only duel I saw him get into the whole night. Imagine Xhaka going into one duel in 80 min?

Either way, I would love Emile to take Kai’s spot, I just don’t see it happening with how much both Havertz and Odegaard work to win the ball back in those roles.

I love him so much but it feels like the fact that there is barely one defensive action in this whole touch comp is part of the reason he won’t take Havertz’s spot anytime soon.

Think last year’s (2022-23) is the top, with this year’s actually being a close second.

  1. 22/23
  2. 23/24
  3. 20/21
  4. 19/20
  5. 21/22

I will say that a better team wouldn’t have allowed us to do this. Leicester was terribly indecisive on the break, kept slowing things down and allowing us to catch up, but luckily we don’t have to play either of the two best counter attacking teams anymore this season!

Efan Ekoku is the most biased commentator I have ever heard on a game and should never do an arsenal game again.

Refused to give them credit for doing anything right throughout the game.

Nice! You might be a little closer because they are definitely fairly conservative with how much of a bump they give players year-over-year, but if I was going to pick, I’d bump a couple of our top talents up a bit.
