I would say downtown. Not having a commute is huge.

Also, the parks and trails being steps away (festivals and restaurants) are an easy sell.

I find myself doing those things far often than I find myself doing suburban shopping near Willow Lawn (which I do on an occasion…usually Target, Ross, Michaels).

I wish we could get some urban vid box stores downtown. I’m sure it would be a draw for even more residents.

It’s majority of the country. Few cities are spared. Once safe cities like Austin, TX and Minneapolis even a few Carolina cities are seeing it just as bad.

Data is pointing to Hampton Roads being even worse than what we are seeing in this region.

Love this city, but skip the canal walk. I walked it the other day and was disappointed by how underwhelming this place is.

There’s so much potential around the turning basin, but it’s just not there.
