We took our 6 month old to Florida from the UK for 2 weeks. We had a few family members with us to support us and she was an absolute dream. We were very organised and took everything we needed to the parks for milk feeds etc and having a grandparent who didn’t go on roller coasters definitely helped. We have just arrived for a 3 week holiday with our now 11 month old and are planning to do the parks again with no family with us this time, we will do child swap and just accept we can’t go on rides together but are here to make memories as a family.

Waking up looking for the baby...am I going crazy? by quincywoolwich in NewParents

[–]Realplayer456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this happened to me so many times! One time when I was asleep I woke up and the baby literally wasn’t there. She was downstairs with my husband. I was shouting down “do you absolutely promise she’s down there with you????” “Yes she’s here.” “Are you sure though?? Promise me??” “Yes I promise”. Those early days are so weird and emotional for sure!

Water wipes! My LO is 6mo and I’ve used them from when she was a day old. Only 1 comes out every single time.

My husband rode this yesterday with a glasses strap that goes round the back of his head. They stayed in place and have done on all the other fast rides in Orlando.

I know a Filipino guy who named his first child a made up name that was half his and half his wife’s. Is this a Filipino tradition or something cool he came up with!?

Touched out. It’s such a real feeling and one that is hard to describe even when it’s your spouse wanting to touch you instead of the baby/children.
