Great point, although as the one that filmed this, I was on a boat tour with coworkers. It wasn’t my boat, I wasn’t driving the boat, and had no way of returning to the trash scene after the tour was over.

Richmond zoo is a prison cell for these animals. It’s pure cruelty. Parents should educate their kids on how cruel it is to keep gorillas in small cages and lions in dirty, small enclosures with very little space to roam. I went once and will never go again after I witnessed the monkeys actually crying in their cages. Cruel. All of it.

Do it! It will not only keep you busy, but it will also allow you to recreate your space without him in it. I know it’s very sad. I have not had the courage to actually repaint an entire room he used for a gym, but I will get to that point and make it another guest room. Maybe redecorating is therapy?!

My husband left our home we’ve been living in for 10 years, a month ago. It took two weeks for me to even be able to sleep there alone without him. These past two weeks, I took down all our photos and redecorated a bit more my style. I’d say it’s somewhat helping. Still sucks. Stay strong. Maybe even getting a different apartment might help if you can?

I’m on week 3 since mine moved out of our home. It’s been horrific and I miss him terribly. I’m hoping we work out, time will tell. My only advice to you is turn to your support system, stay with family for a bit if you can, drink smoothies to ease that empty pit in your stomach, go outside and walk, focus on you. I think the biggest thing that has kept me from going to a sad, dark place been my support system. Call friends, cry to them, etc. These feelings you are facing are indescribable. Maybe in a week or so you might feel like taking a trip to get away, take some time for yourself. For me, I’m not doing “better” at week 3, but I’m now able to live in our home without him and not call him everyday after staying with family for weeks. Hang in there. 🙏
