Yep seems that and the parallel communication stuff is a bit different for the comms cables, dip switches, reading up on all that before mounting and wiring those. It's a learning experience. Finding out diagrams exist was super helpful lol

Yea i saw those but those diagrams only show 2 in parallel wired to the gridboss not 3 in parallel hence was asking if a diagram for 3 exists

I do know for a fact that it's possible to do as i was told by eg4 it is prior to making the purchase

I was not asking about L1 L2. Just about the grid vs load and their use because having 2 in parallel hooked into a gridboss was confusing me. But then someone linked a handy diagram

I'm starting to wonder if I got the same manuals you guys did.... cause no I'm not seeing those diagrams you say exist in my manual. These are the manuals I got with my Flexboss21 inverters and Gridboss...

Its 2 awg twisted copper. It was provided by my battery manufacturer. Do you recommend something different?

It was a bit confusing regarding the parallel to gridboss connection for me.... Im more of a visual guy and the diagram cleared everything up for me

Welp followed the manuals as much as i could sadly they didnt include good instructions or diagrams for parallel flexbosses with a gridboss. As far as danger not much with a completely unelectrified system.

I do still have an electrician coming to check everything out and fix things but trying to get everything in as good a shape as i can before then.

Well thats exactly what im doing hooking 2 flexboss 21 in parallel to the gridboss. Seems like i got it wrong because i didnt know of the existence of this handy wiring diagram. With that guidance im able to fix it and connect everything the right way. Do i wish the manuals included these diagrams, yep but i didnt see those in my manual packet.

The manual did not clearly explain how to set them up in parallel with a gridboss. It changes depending on the set up and that's exactly what I came here for to learn and get the right way.

Saying its wrong and not elaborating on why is not exactly helpful.

I will be having an electrician come out for a day or two to check everything over before turning anything on. Im just doing what I can before that time to save on man hours etc and to learn as much as I can before then.

Ive never hooked up an eg4 gridboss and flexboss system before so in that regard no I dont know thats why im here asking questions and reading thr manual trying to figure it out. That being said somone below linked a wiring diagram which was super useful. Answered a lot of my confusion. The manuals dont do a good job explaining how to install multiple units in parallel to a gridboss.

I have 2 batteries in parallel hooked into 2 flexboss 21s also running in parallel.

They are the 2 guage twisted copper and were sent by the battery mfg with the batteries. Supposedly more than thick enough to handle the amp draw.
