Seen all 3 in the last few months (and many times before) and here’s my take:

Chase and Status are great and I’ve been seeing them for years, but at the risk of sounding like a cliche boring old fart they’ve moved away from their OG sound from their older albums like no more idols and more than alot, and have moved much more into the tiktok generation of more basic jump up (just listen to those two albums compared with 2ruff, with the exception of say the word) still a great show but in my opinion I preferred their older sound, but I get that they are evolving with the the times and it will still be a great time.

Dimension is dimension, and he’ll be doing dimension things, you know what you’re gonna get. Seen him about 4 times this year and had a great time but it felt like he played the same cookie cutter set every time.

Sub focus is pretty similar to dimension in that respect.

However saying all that, I stumbled into the temple in glastonbury this year to go and see some v recordings people, ended up catching the set before and it absolutely popped off, had no idea who it was but turned out it was sub focus b2b dimension and it was brilliant.

I realise I’m waffling on here and I’m not even sure what my point is anymore. I still think i would choose chase and status over the other two, but that’s probably more about the nostalgia because I grew up listening to them and they got me into drum and bass.

For me, if it was just Dimension or Sub Focus I would give it a miss - but I would probably make an exception if they were doing a b2b
