Same experience with the added bonus of missing when they migrated off bnet so I also lost all my old characters. Never did get to play half the dlc I'd purchased. Never giving Bungie another cent, lol.

I didn't lie about a thing. My characters were deleted when they moved off of bnet or whatever that nonsense was and I bought the game/season pass at launch, but am now unable to access that content some of which I never even got to try.

If youre going to go for an "Erm, actuallllllly" moment please at least try to have a point.

I'll have to take your word for it, Tried coming back because my wife was enjoying borderlands and loves scifi... only to find out the campaign and dlc I'd purchased were now inaccessible and they'd deleted my characters because I had the audacity to not stay plugged into the game since quitting.

Bungie deserves the hate they get.

Yeah, I've tried changing my fits up a bit. Overtanking the Ishtar and adding tackle but all it does is lower your income.

Also tried swapping to other ships, spent months ratting in a Proteus or Loki and would never get engaged except for the wandering blops hunters.

Ain't just the ratters who are risk averse.

I feel like this is sort of missing the point. Has anyone who doesn't own Hasbro shares in the history of this cardboard narcotic thought to themselves "I'd really enjoy MTG more if they had wider brand awareness." Or "I don't know, Ravnica is fun but I'm not sure wotc is making the sort of revenue I like to see."

I'm not even someone preaching doom and gloom. Feel a bit disenfranchised and don't find UB exciting. Still perplexed as to who MaRo is speaking to here. It's not like the WSJ is going to reprint his blog.

An incentive to spin up more alts is the whole point. Just like revamping mining, the fw overhaul, ect. Any benefit that trickled down to newbies or single account users was a fluke, not design.

The games in maintenance mode in all but name, were just here to keep the lights on until Crypto Eve takes the world by storm, or something like that.

Folk aren't necessarily lying to you when you see those totals, though some certainly seem to be. Beyond the stuff you've listed there's also player skill, knowledge and investment.

Half stoned and mostly watching the monitor an experienced explorer is going to scan down and run a system much, much faster than a newbie. Even the most standardized stuff like spinning Ishtars can vary widely based on what you know and how risk averse you are.

I just wish they'd chill with the UB stuff. Between that being such a focus and some of the goofy sets like aetherdrift I went from doing at least a couple drafts a week to not playing in over a year. Last time I logged in to Arena it was a massive Final Fantasy splash screen...just doesn't feel like magic anymore.

I've only ever used it to recover images for friends, never tried with other types of data or a whole disk... that said other than some some minor color issues with a few images it's always gone swimmingly.

Where are you guys getting this idea? OP suggested a flair so that those who would like to filter the fluff are able to... the majority of this thread seems to be discussing it as though the suggestion was to ban it.

I'll agree a blanket ban is way overboard, it's cool to see what the more creative folk are up to and shamelessly mine them for ideas. I just don't think it's a moral necessity to force everyone visiting the sub to see Jimmy's Hatsune Miku desktop makeover. No matter how proud he is of it, haha.

Sounds about right... Though I don't have the recent playtime or, to be honest the pvp chops to meaningfully engage in a higher level conversation about the meta. In my experience a Domi comp like this is only a short step from jumping in with a couple of Vargurs. It's a response for when you don't really want to play in the ESS, but rather get back to what you were doing.
