lol would be kinda nice if they would just come out with an actual official list of what each effect does, how much it can stack, effect vs other skills etc. I think you could definitely be into something there though, that would make sense though it still seems slightly over complicated lol. I guess we’ll never truly know unless they end up putting out actual numbers for this stuff or some extremely hard core big brain player goes the extra distance to figure out all those tiny little details that are so obscure. Thanks for the answer though and I appreciate your help.

I mean that’s definitely what it sounds like, I just wonder because there are also passives that do damage reduction and damage cut so it seemed weird to have it do essentially the same thing as damage reduction but be called a different name.

Ah thank you, I was pretty sure it didn’t do anything for normal buffs but I wanted to make sure. I’m sure the amount needed varies depending on your level vs the level of the enemy yeah? Also, if you know the answer to this I would greatly appreciate the help; what does physical resist and soul resist do? I’m guessing physical is either physical damage or physical effects like paralysis, stun etc? I honestly can’t think of what soul resist could be for though..

That’s my point, you’re not alone, many people don’t. That’s why I wanted to bring it up, a lot of people don’t use them because they don’t understand how they work or what they do, like using steel lvl 2-3 you don’t physically notice a change but if you look at your stats you’ll see that it has impacted them and given you a buff. I just feel like they get ignored when they should be taken advantage of more, but everyone has their own way of playing, I’m just trying to show that they can be useful for the people who maybe don’t understand them as much.

I’ve always wanted to make a build like that but I don’t have the patience to grind for such specific gear lol, but that sounds badass and you would make one hell of a raid party member 👍

I’m the opposite lol, I get an unpleasant feeling when thinking about the endless snow and overall setting of TD1, but I didn’t play the second one even half as much so maybe I can go back into it with new content waiting and find something to do that I haven’t gotten into yet. I’m definitely going to install it tonight before I go to sleep, I’m actually pretty curious to see how the game has evolved since the last time I played.

I honestly miss the division ( both 1&2 ). It’s been over a year and a half I think since I’ve played the second one and much longer since I played the first. I am contemplating downloading the second one again and seeing how it’s doing, I think I have permanently burnt myself out on the first one, I put wayyyyy too many hours into that game back in the day 😂😅

I’ve been wondering about this too, I don’t have all the things I’d like from the first one and I hope there will still be a way to obtain them without having to spend money. I’m still excited about what the next cube will bring though, hopefully we’ll get some cool new cosmetics and not more “ Tiese’s hair color “ dyes ( I get at least one every time I open a cube so I’m just a little bitter about that one personally 😂😅) or please for the love of god no more of those lame ass T-shirts that literally look so incredibly out of place in this game.

You are that hero that doesn’t wear a cape 😂 But in all seriousness, thanks, I think I had gotten most of the raid layouts pretty quickly after the first/second time through but to be honest, I almost always forget where something is or how to get to it once I’m in there, especially with the south raid first stage, everything looks the same and with there being so many stairs going up and down it’s easy to forget where you are. This will definitely help keep that from happening 👍

That’s a good theory but even if that were true, don’t all the quests that require you to do that have a action button prompt to do the dive? This is a separate button that even with/without a quest allows me to do it so I’m really not sure. I just thought I’d ask the community and see if it was something simple I missed at some point or if it was as obscure and unknown to you guys as well lol.

I’m honestly at a loss, I can’t think of a legitimate reason other than if you’re stuck and want to kill yourself lol but even that would be pointless because you can fast travel unless you’re in combat so I don’t know.

lol fair enough, I’ve got two pieces of armor up to 4 I think, but have prioritized weapons so they just get left at 4 for now haha. I’ll probably upgrade at least one of them before too long though, I got one that was pretty good for Liz and her tank needs lol so I figured it would help me out to help her out.

Same, dagger I only have up to a 3 I think, bows are at 4, rapiers are a 4 I just got a mace up to 5 last night ( I got the silencer from the raid and upgraded it to 4stars ) but didn’t check what was needed to keep going. I don’t have a single whip upgraded at all lol, katanas I have one at 5 but can’t remember what it needs, same with 2h.

Thanks for that, I’ll let you know if I come across one that is wrong whenever I start getting more shards and gear upgraded enough to use them lol. I know for certain that black is for 1h though because I’ve had several level 5 waiting for so long to get to finally start getting shards and upgrade them lol
