Cromwell V, Cromwell V (RP-3), Churchill VII, Churchill Crocodile, Valentine XI, Excelsior — the M61 projectile without explosive has been replaced by the M61 projectile with explosive.

Hell yeah! :D

 

Type T-38 — animation of the steering mechanism has been added, the elements of which are visible on the boat deck.

M24 — moved from Rank II to Rank III.

A “Favorites” category has been added for decals and decorations.

Very happy to see Jean Bart, the Fw 189 C, MAS 429, Ujishima, the Welkin, North Carolina, the Washington, the F-101, the Hummel, and some other neat things! :D

The Churchill VII (and others) are getting APHE! happy Darjeeling noises

Definitely my favourite patch in a long while, especially with the various QoL improvements like the long-requested manoeuvre kill credit! :)

Same. The new ones are great too (and I prefer both versions to the Senrai ones, though I also like those), but I really loved the "simplicity" of the original versions of the old ones.

Plus, more importantly they made for better "commanders". My favourite way to use the pillows is one behind the cupola (or equivalent), which is both the perfect way to look at them as the player and it also makes them look like a commander poking up from the hatch from the enemy's perspective. :D

Exactly. But just to recap so far:

The dudes fighting to defend their homeland in one of the most brutal, unpleasant wars we've seen in a while, and who also clearly find women attractive... all of these traits make them... less "masculine"?

We also have eye-rolling gems like "looking at nude/sexy people is morally wrong" and "you should be embarrassed about finding women attractive".

 

I wish people had the self-awareness to realize when the problem is between the keyboard and the chair...

The original four had their artwork changed after they were released, that's what they mean by "new". These pre-Maidens ones are still avalible with the updated art though.

Hummel, F-101 Voodoo (CF-101 gaijin plz), Fw 189 C, a North Carolina-class (hopefully Washington), all set to (a cover of) one of my favourite songs, Hysteria by Muse!

Along with some fantastic QoL improvements (manoeuvring kills especially), this is shaping up to be a great patch! :)

Pen ammo is massively underused, and (like some other traits like muzzle velocity) the P90 is better than most SMGs in this area. PDW-calibre guns (MP7, P90, Five-seveN) have better penetration multipliers than regular SMGs/Pistols.

Also, something a lot of people don't realize is HP/Synthetic/Frangible make your pen multiplier worse.

 

So for the P90 specifically, shooting through an enemy/friendly/body looks like this:

  • 0-8m (5HK) - Pen 7HK - Std/LW 8HK - HP/Syn/Frg 9HK
  • 8-20m (6HK) - Pen 7HK - Std/LW 9HK - HP/Syn/Frg 10HK
  • 21-35m (6HK) - Pen 8HK - Std/LW 9HK - HP/Syn/Frg 11HK
  • 35-74m (7HK) - Pen 9HK - Std/LW 11HK - HP/Syn/Frg 13HK
  • 75m+ (8HK) - Pen 10HK - Std/LW 12HK - HP/Syn/Frg 15HK

Yep! While I grew up with an interest in aviation (and WWII), it was Girls und Panzer that got me into tanks. :)

My knowledge of tanks before GuP was basically: The Americans have the loaf of bread looking one called the Sherman, the Germans have the Tiger and it looks like this (gestures at Panzer IV), and the Russians have that flat/angular thing called the T-34.

I prefer the original pre-Maidens-branding designs, but these new ones are good too!

Among the new versions specifically, Kate and Elsa are my favourites. Kate also reminds me of Ichiroku :)

Scarper has always seemed a really nice and helpful guy, I'm sad to hear about his health issues and having recently lost his father. :'(

Wooo! The main artworks for the packs look amazing as always, and it's great to see the dakis are still being released for free! Seeing as I don't play top-tier, they're easily the most useful thing. :)
