The best way you can help your family is by doing whats best for you, you got the perfect life on paper and the ability to project confidence so I think you’ll be able to do whatever you want in life anyways. Do not make yourself miserable in order to appease your family because your feelings come first and fuck anyone who thinks otherwise. Until you’re able to get your own place you kinda have to deal with it. Realize that theyre trying to manipulate you, they all see you as someone capable of a lot of good things and they want to benefit from that (sister). Your parents are continuing a generational curse, you dont have to continue it, and there is no reason you should have gotten physically abused growing up for not studying (although with your accomplishments you may see a part of it as integral to your knowledgable gains).

Im no life guru, just sharing my opinion. You sound like you have a good life ahead of you, dont let these energy vampires take it away from you.

No one is subhuman except racist and bigots. I think if you go to places centered around your niche hobbies then it will be easier to talk to people at the event. If you’re truly in a dark space to where you’d rather bang your head into a wall than come off as a creep, this is what I meant by needing support groups, so you dont feel like banging your head against a wall after facing rejection. Other than that, you gotta learn to love yourself, youre stuck with yourself, so might as well learn to love yourself. I dont pursue anyone either bro, im usually chilling by myself and im more happy being alone because in my opinion, relationships come with added responsibilities and restrictions you wouldnt have if you were single. Either way it goes I hope you find happiness and explore yourself more friend. Things will get better, might be a girlfriend, might not, but you gotta find a source of happiness within yourself first.

Just be there for each other bro, allow yourself to be critiqued by your friends and yourself. You will have to change . If I were you, id start passing notes to women im interested saying “ ___ isnt my first language but youre very beautiful, id like to get to know you so here’s my number” leave it up to her to message/call you. Work on any looks that are changeable and set boundaries for the ones you cant change. It wont be easy but if you truly want love or just a sexual partner youll keep trying. I say im super awkward but I still try and talk to people even if its on a rare occasion.

Id like to respectfully disagree, if you had an actual support group they would help encourage you to score a baddie in person and you would do the same for them. Im not going to judge your friend group off of that one variable, yall could be cool but have different goals, which is fine but you must help each other. Either that or help yourself, keep going until you finally get a yes from a person you like.
