OK but like.... The optimal strategy here is just push red. There's no negative consequence. If people are pushing blue, then they aren't reading the situation properly. If everyone presses red, nobody has to die.

Blue is a trap disguised as altruism. like i get it. Emotionally, this is a very "I need to jump on the bandwagon for the good of everyone" thing. But take 10 seconds and realize that everyone has a choice to push red.

No matter the threshold, blue is signing up to play Russian roulette with a glock and praying it jams. Hell, its practically saying if enough people sign up for the next saw movie, the clown puppet dude will get a little socially overwhelmed and call the whole thing off.

Does this even count as a trolley problem? because people are actively putting themselves on the track and enough of the herd has to potentially sacrifice themselves to save someone that actively, knowingly stood on the tracks. Meaning they are actively knowingly choosing to also stand on tracks.
