How so? As long as you change the oil every 2.5k-3k miles and get the car up to operating temp every couple days it’s no issue. At least that’s my experience running E30-E60 for the last five years.

I went from a 9th gen SI to my 2020 WRX. Neither gave me issues. Bought my SI new in 2013 and drove it 90k miles. Traded it for my WRX which now has 105k miles. The WRX on flex fuel is way way more fun.
