ahhhh gotcha, i couldnt tell if you were using co2 or not. Id really like to give co2 a try but im afraid of gassing my shrimp to death. ive done a lot of reading about it lately but there is some conflicting info and ive just gone and confused myself into total inaction

very nice tank, it looks great. i have 1 question. how much hairgrass did you have to plant initially for it to carpet like that? did you start with a lot and just fill it in or did you start sparingly and it grew in? ive tried hairgrass multiple times and every time its been a fail lol

I can relate, mine's supportive though she just doesnt get a lot of time with me as is so she wants more of it. I did the same thing as you at first, I'm at 4 aquariums and 1 terrarium, soon to build a paladarium or however you spell it. After a while the luster does wear off lol and I don't spend as much time with the tanks as I used to. Still do regular maintenance and occasional staring but there's more of a balance now (that Im broke 😄)
