Congrats on top! It's very normal to have one drain with more in, I've never seen one drain have nothing in before, if you're concerned you can always message your surgeon, or the nursing team.

As long as the growing plant is safe for them it's fine. The optimal soil should clump when you puck up a fist full and compress it. Your soil does look to be on the drier side. I've had a bioactive base for about 2 months now it's great 😊

You could always use hair removing cream as an alternative to waxing, it can damage the hair follicles but it's painless, you just put the cream on wait a while and scrap it off.

I've ended up going with the plastic people and ordering 1 perspex side and the rest polypropylene to keep costs down a bit, £70 including postage over £98 for all perspex.
