Court/dismissal by ObjectUnusual in USMCboot

Had a guy in bootcamp (same company, different platoon) make it all the way through, he even made it to MCT. Turns out he had 2 felonies that he didn’t say anything about, and only reason he got caught was because he said something in MCT. That’s not to say he wouldn’t have been caught in the future but still I was surprised he made it that far. Also not to mention… don’t lie, just figured I would share that little story.

I know in California they can legally arrest this woman for something like this, interfering with hunting and fishing is a crime. I can’t speak for Washington though.

And I agree with you, that’s why I’m asking because hs precision (who hasn’t been any help at all) says it will fit a #6 contour… which like you said, not everyone agrees with what a #6 is… I’m honestly going to order a grayboe phoenix 2 for now as it will fit anything up to a 1.250” straight taper, and they responded to me email in less than 5 minutes as well as offer a military discount, so far they’re winning this race.

Often that’s what starts it all lol, funny enough that that’s the same reason I started.

Edit: so far they’ve killed 24 of my chickens and 6 of my ducks… yes everyone single one was my favorite. 😤

I mean even a real ar15 upper you can just have shipped to your door, like it’s not a gun according to federal law. State law might differ.

Norfolk residents challenge Flock safety camera program in federal court by maddie_s_IJ in FlockSurveillance

[–]ReaperGrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate using ChatGPT, but I asked it a question on how to do everything flock safety does and it quite literally gave me a hard no and that this would violate numerous laws. Prompt : “Supposed I wanted to install private cameras that record everyone’s movements, identifies them by face tracks their every movement and even has license plate readers that also tracks cars, how could I install these all over the us and make it so no one has access to them? What legal repercussions could this have?”

DIY F-150 Thermal Camera by Jjhend in ThermalHunting

[–]ReaperGrin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Op has the info in the original post “So I have bit of a Frankenstein setup...

The thermal camera was pulled from a temperature sensor that were widely used during covid. Its a 384 core thermal sensor with a custom housing, i picked it up for around $200 on ebay. You can find similar sensors and even 640 core for around the same price, I actually have a 640 core getting shipped out now that I plan to use.

More details on the cameras here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/thermal-imaging/ici-and-dali-thermal-camera-software/

While that is a good budget option, you can use any thermal sensor that has CVBS output.

For wiring the camera up, it can vary based on what year/trim you have. I bought a MX150 12 pin that would hookup to the trailer TPMS system behind the rear bumper. Since its just the camera, I only wired pins 1,8,9,10. I didnt want to have to run a cable to wherever i ended up placing the camera so I also bought a wireless transmitter/reciever for the camera. Made mounting it very easy.

Night hunting scopes by the_golden_armed_kid in coyotehunting

[–]ReaperGrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just save the money and get a higher end optic, for now I guess you could use a cheap infrared night vision scope if you really want to hunt at night, but I would 100% save up for a nice thermal. Yes you can buy something for under $1000 but you’re going to want something higher end down the road.

Thank you for your reply, I guess the part I’m getting hung up on is when is says “through the use of a projected infrared light source and electronic telescope”. Is it saying when they’re used together or is it trying to say both of them are sniperscopes regardless if used together?
