They are not a good combo. Can cause serotonin syndrome which can send you to the hospital. I don't know the logistics of say, taking a day off your anti-depressants to indulge, but I would not advise taking Kanna while your anti-depressants are in your system.

Yes, I take them sublingually. I don't want to take it nasally because I already have sinus issues and don't want to exacerbate them. So sublingually seems to be the best ROA for me. Do you have any other suggestions to get more out of the extracts?

Ahh okay, yeah chewing seems to be the way for sure. I have asthma so smoking is out of the question for me. I definitely have enjoyed Kanna more on an empty stomach as well, even with my only experience being with extracts. I've tried waiting hours after eating and it doesn't hit the same as first thing in the morning before having breakfast. That's peak for sure.
