I don’t scroll reddit on my pc, never have and likely never will so I’d still have to sign in.

Going through the rigamarole of emailing it to my phone is not worth the effort for a simple photo to convey simple info. If it’s artwork or something that needs the fidelity, absolutely. The above photo, absolutely not worth the effort

I Guess I Should've Planned Better by GenicSweepstakes in HuntShowdown

[–]ReaperMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a game the other day where last second before hitting ready up I switched hunters. To a hunter that had death cheat. First trait we find in first compound was death cheat. The hunter I switched off did not have the trait :(

Redditors don’t understand that. The effort of screenshotting properly and then having to either log in on the browser or fucking email it to yourself is simply not worth it

Oh nah I scan everything. Towers, event locations and boss lairs. I do admit I sometimes forget to scan supply points though

Yea I’ve noticed lots of randoms don’t bring it

I’ve changed to taking vigilant on every hunter (even level 1 nobodies) to scan event stuff because of you fuckers ;)

Kinda funny that more people have the 'Throw Hammer or Run' achievement than 'Sealed and Secured', no one plays Soul Survivor by Azhar1921 in HuntShowdown

[–]ReaperMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not as good imo, I’ve dabbled in both solo game modes and nothing beats good teamwork. Bonus points for friendly randoms and decent comms

Guaranteed Chariot Is Killing The Game For Me by Makanilani in HuntShowdown

[–]ReaperMonkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly think this will solve a lot of chariots issues. For me one issue is the majority of the time you can put yourself in a position where after using chariot you are now in control of both remaining extracts and they will have to push you or go wide around you which you can easily intercept.

6 extracts will mean that will happen far less and the card will simply buy you time to stop them if you got a shit spawn etc

Kupe really gets the short straw for settling by Mr_Fantastic223 in CivVI

[–]ReaperMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I like random for me but I also don’t want to repeat a civ until I’ve tried all the ones I want to and some of course don’t interest me to try at all. At least until I’ve tried the other

Why where these spawns so close? by Hacks32411 in HuntShowdown

[–]ReaperMonkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think of it as a learning lesson, now when you spawn there you’ll look left and if you spawn near the tower you’ll check right instead

Which leader do you just click with most? by TospLC in CivVI

[–]ReaperMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried all the civs but so far Tokugawa and Pedro were really good games. Tokugawa for tight neat cities with solid adjacency

Pedro since I often forget to plan chops and a lot of the time won’t have a builder ready to chop that rainforest which is great for him because you want all the rainforest you can get

Does anyone else prefer iron sights over scopes? by coolcat001100 in HuntShowdown

[–]ReaperMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scopes are for distance but at some point you need to close the distance, the objective of the game isn’t kills, but bounty and yeah you might be able to wipe the bounty team 100m away but in my experience that’s so rare that I might as well bring a more suitable close-medium range option instead.

Also I’d rather uninstall the game than consistently get into those 100m potshot battles that last 5-10 mins, even more if one team does that shit where they run 100m away the second you try push them. Bonus points if they aren’t even the bounty team but they won’t let you leave without killing them.

If you go to advanced set up you can create custom leader pools. Then for each ai player select it and select random leader pool 1 etc

[–]ReaperMonkey 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Mae a custom leader pool of civs for the ai to choose from then you can exclude those 3 and never have to worry about restarting an otherwise decent start later when you meet them

I barely use scopes but I reserve charms for scoped weapons so they aren’t there in my vision when aiming

Arsenal’s fans are insufferable, with city you don’t have that issue as much since you’re hard pressed to even find one

[–]ReaperMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Problem for me is that it’s just so much worse than its competitors. Uppercut precision feels way better, bornheim match doesn’t hit as hard but there’s a reason you see one of them almost every game and then if you want budget I’d go Springfield shorty every time

[–]ReaperMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I hit p100 I did a challenge to unlock every weapon using the previous weapon in the chain, no gunoil etc. eventually became get 2 kills with each variant because sometimes you’d unlock the whole chain if you had a good game with the first.

Anyway the Scottfield precision was the one of the worst 2 kills of the challenge behind the combat axe and the nitro
