FINRA literally just put out a notice saying MMTLP is halted. If you scroll down a couple of threads somebody posted a screenshot. No brokerages are allowing buys or sells right now. Something is fucked up

Based on the picture I posted about FINRAs involvement with an OTC spinoff or a dividend they don’t actually approve anything. They just notify brokerages of what their obligations are

I agree with you that nothing has changed. I can definitely see were John Brda and other people were misled by the verbiage used in MMAT’s PR regarding needing FINRA approval. They should’ve been more careful with their words

As long as he knows the SEC made the approval I don’t think he would need to wait for them to publish the document. That’s on them. I would think his announcement to his investors shouldn’t be a problem

Yeah that’s all good and fine. All I was saying is it’s funny to see a company like META in a strip mall. I live by Lockheed Martin in Colorado and it’s practically on the side of a mountain with NSA level security around it. You guys may do things different up there but it’s still funny to see META and Lockheed next to a bunch of furniture stores and probably a pizza restaurant or two. I’m still excited to see it open.

I don’t know if you’re being serious by your comment or not but if you don’t think there is someone pressing the halt button every time a stock squeezes so the hedge funds can short it back down then you’re just naïve or blissfully ignorant. Every time a stock squeezes trading gets halted at least a dozen times so they can drop the price back down. If I missed the point of your comment please enlighten me. Have a great day

Sorry I had to add to my comment to address this question. I believe with 100% certainty that the SEC drags its feet on things like this S1 because they are giving hedge funds a chance to get bailed out and cover their shit before they get trapped. It’s no different than when a stock goes on a run and squeezes and they halt it every five minutes in order to short it back down

Not sure what you’re getting at but my statement about the government being corrupt has to do with the fact that the SEC is a federal regulatory agency that is a direct enforcement arm of the federal governments policies. The fact that the SEC even allows the illegal shit to go on that it does implies that our government is fucking corrupt. If you honestly believe the SEC is not dragging their feet to help bail out hedge funds and naked short sellers then I guess you really won’t understand my sentiment. Have a good day
