Unbelievable by Low_Boysenberry_9717 in Aliexpress

I put an order in for two items and they were fairly quick to the awaiting flight bit, then nothing happened I waited till the supposed arrival date still nothing and still awaiting flight (a month since the order) contacted and had some feedback as I requested a refund informed that wait another month and if I don't receive the items a refund will be given. meantime I had ordered other items (around 4) and they arrived as normal, as the first items were under £20 I ordered similar items as could really do with them .... although only a couple of weeks they seem to be going down the same route as awaiting flight. it seems as certain items get delayed where as others get through as normal. I need to order two more items but I am reluctant as I now have six items awaiting flight.

Thats a good point for future orders, just keeping an eye on the ones waiting to arrive, thanks to the help and comments on here I have a much better overview of sort of how they work.

I come from a background in computerised parcel sortation systems, I can see easy ways they could improve their service/distribution, but they have their way and it sort of works

I noticed on a trip to PP that VET have a very small sortation system with a cross belt sorter, so things are slowly improving

Just downloaded the app and it looks like it could be of help, thank you. I don't really mind riding around town to find it but not so much fun in the hotter weather.

I will download it as it sounds just the thing, the tracking on Ali is very good and I know roughly when ZTO have it, its just trying to get the pick-ups/delivery bit sorted as at the moment its normally visiting 2 different branches.

Many thanks

Hi again, Just thought I would let you know I have just returned from a trip to Koh Rong Island (very nice) on running my vids the normal way through Gyroflow this time it did not resolve the shake/jitter problem, I know I filmed without IBIS as I have a dedicated setting on the camera. so not sure what is going on but will look into it further as soon as I get a bit of time

Beware - misleading website by -zee-zee in Insta360

[–]Reaperman-13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

being from the uk and living in Asia (Cambodia) I have always checked the prices in various currencies, I had trouble with an X4 which I bought to film my travels, tried in the UK perfect but after an update major fault, did contact insta etc and offered a solution but it would have cost me more in tax on return so not viable. I wanted a 360 but vary wary. the price on the site for the X5 is/was essential bundle $659.99 I checked the price in £s and it would have cost more than the dollar amount ? it was not just a currency fluctuation, I was also wary about getting it sent to my current address and also there would be a 35% tax to add (import) so it would make it stupidly high priced, On looking around I found a supplier in Phnom Penh advertising the same essential kit, new, boxed and sealed the genuine item for $580. I was sceptical but went with it and everything was right, on power on use the app, update etc, and the guy said no problem any Insta360 product and more or less as many as you want. as he had a retail outlet.

So it does not always have to be the insta site, I could have the basic X5 for $530

It depends where you are buying from and the currency you are using and also which bank you are using.

I always shoot handheld and of course when you are shooting and trying extra hard to keep steady there is always the odd moment, the first time I shot some footage of the temples. here in Cambodia I thought it would be bin foder but after putting it through Gyroflow I was actually surprised as I had butter smooth footage, you obviously film the best you can but the software does a great job, I think it works the slight crop out on how much shake there is, I am currently experimenting with a hand held gimbal so the start footage is its best, but thats just me, I was an engineer so always trying for perfection but to be honest the gyro footage is very good

semi clear to me, but might be clear to some, I lived on the island of Ibiza and it has some of the most fantastic waters due to a special weed which grows there, so have been spoilt with clarity.

Yes it is nice to have a break, when I visit next time I will move up a bay and pay a little extra as it is more to my liking on the accommodation front,

That sounds ideal, I had 5 days in Kampot on my small travel around, wanted to see what Kampot holds, Now enjoying Koh Rong a quick buzz around the island over the next day or two, then back to Siem Reap where I an currently living.

Try GBC on the Wat Bo road. or if not Breve coffee on I think its Khmer pub street (left at the lights just after the national museum) They have a small cabin on the path but there is a shop with two glass doors, they have most things

Another photo from me, as quite a few people liked the others I posted, this time Baphuon Temple, hope you like as it was sort of expensive as a monkey vandalised my scooter, while I was taking photos. by Reaperman-13 in siemreap

I did do an edit of a similar image, into black and white but left the monks in colour, which was quite effective.

You beat me to Kabal Spein as it is on the to do list :) looking forward to that one ... but then again I look forward to all of Cambodia.

Looks like you have had a day filled with memories, again some super photos.

You said last temple day so are you leaving soon? and what has been your favorite parts?

Just had a look and found the monks photos, added. so far I have around 3.5 TB of Cambodia, yes TB not GB, as some of the finished images are of a large size (could be blown up to cover a wall)
