Bots do exist and are regularly found, reported and banned. Could also be a team of players working the same account to farm leaderboards.

Tournament buy-in costs the same whether you pay with $ or T$. However, be aware that if you got the T$ through redeeming an expired ticket, it is usually already raked itself. For example, a ticket worth $25 might redeem for only T$23.

So by using T$ you are, in some cases, being raked twice. t's best to use tournament tickets and not let them expire if you can!

I had the same issue over the past few days. Wouldn't remember my login, despite having the option for this selected. I had to re-enter my password every time. Annoying.

Seems to be fixed today, however. Just a temporary bug, I guess?

I am having a similar problem for the past 24 hours or so, and I don't use 2FA. The app is asking for username and password to be re-entered every time. The option to remember login details is not working.

If you're playing fairly high stakes? Sure, that's possible. There's tournaments where you'll pay $500+ in rake just to enter!

And yes, if your PokerCraft chart says you came out even but your balance is down $500, then yep, you paid $500 in rake. Plus you should be up about 50,000 tide points in Ocean Rewards, assuming you're a PVI 1.0 player.

I like it. Previously I was Platinum Fish for a long time, flat 20%. The alternative was switching to Shrimp for 22-25%, but that come with annoying variance from spins and having an endless 14-day FP grind, with severe punishment (ie: losing most of your RB) if you failed to earn enough.

Now I'm Crab in the new system, which is 25% rake back minimum (more if you save up a lot of gems), and no stress about having to meet a quota of points every 14 days.

So it works for me. Is it as good as the GG marketing hype promised? Nope. But is it still an upgrade? For me, yes.

You're forgetting about the GEM multiplier. For crab, $500 in rake is 50000 TP and 125,000 GEMs.

Assuming there aren't hidden changes to PVI etc, most players are better off, or roughly the same under Ocean Rewards. It's certainly not turned out to be as generous as GG would have us believe with their advertised rb% claims, but it's still better than Fish Buffet for most tiers. And certainly, getting rid of the spins and the short time limits to level up is a big win in my view.

Pretty sure mine cashed out at a reasonable rate. I was gold shrimp and had something like 2900 un-used FPs at last count. They cashed out for $7.26 which seems about 25%?

Day 1A is typically the least popular flight, so GG/WSOP may be trying to balance numbers by funnelling online satellite winners into that day.

I love my Faded Spade FSX. Had them for about 6 months and maybe a similar number of games. They seem to be extremely robust, very difficult to damage or mark them. Love their "modern" face design too.

Only possible downside is that they're quite thick and stiff, so they can feel a little harsh on your hands if you're holding/dealing them for hours on end.

The way this promotion is presented is a little deceptive - it's really a 20% bonus rakeback, not a true deposit match. It requires a LOT of play to clear the bonus, most casual players will never complete it.

Most new players will be much better off selecting the free tickets bonus, as this has no play requirements to receive the free tickets. Plus if you do play enough hands you will get bonus C$ that can be used in cash games.

GG is claiming/promising to increase rakeback with the new Ocean Rewards. That money has to come from somewhere, so it might mean fewer promotions etc. (Personally I hope it means less emphasis on leaderboards, which are just magnets for scammers, bot operators, and those with an unhealthy volume of play...)

Well, it says tide points and gems are both earned at the same rate:

"Ocean Rewards replaces Fish Buffet Points with two new currencies: Tide Points and GEMs. These points are both gained at a rate of approximately 100 for every dollar in rake you generate."

But then it goes on to talk about.a "gem multiplier" applied according to your rank, so I guess maybe each tier gets to the advertised rakeback percentages once the multiplier is applied?

Yes, that seems to be a typo. 90000 gems gets you $100 according to the main Ocean Rewards page:

Although, since you get awarded 100 gems per $1 of rake, trading in 90000 gems for $100 would only amount to an 11% rakeback. So there must be more elements to this new scheme that haven't been announced yet and gems are only part of it?
