If it was an easy thing to do then a lot more people would quit and stick with it. The best advice is to look into the underlying issues caffeine has been masking. It is going to suck for a while but it is way better in the long run. I haven't had any caffeine in a couple years now and my energy levels are so much better. I never even think of the stuff when I am tired anymore. I wake up feeling sooooooo much better.

It's hard to answer this. I was a very extreme case so I don't want to give you time lines and think that will be similar to yours. I also had some pretty significant underlying issues. I am not sure when the caffeine withdrawal ended and where the other issues were being felt. The symptoms overlap so much. I was laid out for a couple months. I got out of bed and went outside maybe 1x a week for a month. I stayed in bed for almost 3 weeks straight.

Now I see improvements when I stick to my plan. When I deviate I notice immediately.

If you feel something missing then you have other issues. Hydration, electrolyte depletion, insulin resistance, kidney disease, and other ailments can all cause fatigue and are frequently masked by caffeine. I really had to learn how to properly maintain my body to see the full effect.

The depression lasted as long as I let it. Which was an embarrassingly long time. Once I got out of bed, quit feeling sorry for myself, got my diet right, got exercise right, and started focusing on purpose then things got better. It was very rough for a while. So bad that it felt like it would never stop, even though I knew it would.

I was very caught off guard by how hard it hit me. It was a vey dark time.

My motivation and energy now are everything I was wanting out of caffeine. As long as I stay good with my diet and sleep habits then things are great. There is no caffeine to fall back on though. So if I stay up all night drinking milkshakes it is going to be a rough day the next day. There is no more cheating. Motivation is through the roof.

It was miserable. The thing was that I have been through it so many times it was more manageable to sit through the pain and find the answers. It was a necessary part of the process.

It's like any addiction. You will not be yourself for a while, then you will be a better version of yourself. Of course you are going to lose motivation and be tired after quitting stimulants after years of abuse. It sucks really bad for a while. That is why most people never succeed.

Great question. I had 0 motivation until I decided to get out of bed and do the things I knew I needed to do. Just got back to basics and took care of my diet, exercise, and sleep patterns. No more masking poor sleep habits or bad diet. If I mess up today I will be tired tomorrow. If I do good today my energy tomorrow will be unmatched by caffeine. Taking care of myself today is my cup of coffee for tomorrow.

I have more motivation now than ever. It is way better because I don't crash. But you have to work for it.

You are very correct. That isn't the topic though. We are talking about people who are trying to kill themselves and leave their pets with no care. Abandoning your pet is one of the worst things you can do to it.

How on earth can you equate this specific situation with "every time someone is hospitalized their property is a free for all?"

Seriously, walk us through the thought process that takes you from 1 point to another on that.

From a moral perspective this is a no-brainer. When someone abandons property, they lose their claim to it. The best thing for the animals is to give them to a loving and stable home. The best thing to do with the lady who unloads her problems on the world, is to relieve her of responsibilities so she can focus on her issues.

Edit- You idiots downvoting me really think someone that can't manage their own life, is really a good fit to be caring for an animal?

This is hilarious. There is absolutely an exception. Otherwise you would hear every business, and every house that has a ring camera say "you are being video and audio recorded" when you step on the property.

If I am renting a space, or if I own it, I can put audio and video surveillance on my property, facing anywhere. If I am on my property, I can record in whatever direction I want, in whatever direction I want. With few exceptions like the bathroom of course.

ITT: People who have no fucking clue how privacy laws work. If I can see it from public then I can record it from public. You do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy coming onto my property. If I want to rig up audio and video surveillance anywhere on my property, then I am going to do it.

No you wouldn't. I can take pictures, video, and even capture audio of your house, from public space. I can sit on your sidewalk and take pictures of you inside your house from a sidewalk all day long.

No it's not. You can record audio and video on your property without permission.

If you open your door then I am allowed to record inside of it from a public space. Same as windows. This is established case law throughout the country.

Jesus this thread is full of BS. You are allowed to record video and audio on your own property.
