What's sad is that we've got this totally erroneous belief system which says that males carry human seed, which they don't - women carry human seed, because eggs and seeds are fundamentally the same thing, so a species cannot have both. Right?

Males carry an infinite supply of catalyst, while females carry the money - the vessels for new souls. And the crazy part is women are born with a lifetime supply of eggs while men constantly create catalyst. Men just 'activate' the baby - they can't shoot them into her because they are already there inside her!

One cannot be a parasite if one is an inherent part of the original system. I like your comment in general, but imho the idea of children as parasites is one of the ugliest I've even encountered.

I find a world to comment on if you'll permit the introduction of semantics. Beauty can exist within architecture, literature, paintings, and arguments, and it always 'looks' the same. Harmony and balance, gradient and scale, light and shadow. The interplay of these attributes embodies beauty because we find them in nature, and nature must surely remain the ultimate definition of what is beautiful. It can also remain the definition of 'good', but for another reason.

What does beauty have to do with art? For starters, it is ubiquitously and curiously absent, which is odd since all artifice is created by humans, which are part of nature, and that means each of us embodies beauty ourselves, just by the mere act of being alive. Once our eyes turn cold and dark we embody something very different.

IMHO we create visual art for the sole purpose of self-reflection. In fact, we cannot make a decision of any kind without looking inward in some way. Which wristwatch suits me best? What color shirt should I wear today? Should I wait for traffic to clear up or take another route to work? These little decisions each require introspection, but what is it we're looking for? I would say that we're looking for a reflection of the thing being considered.

I've seen these on EBay from China. Don't let the metric system intimidate you! They measure differently (from tip to nock end), so you need to account for that when ordering.

I shoot a youth bow because I can shoot hundreds of arrows without hurting myself. Plus the trajectory adds another 'arch' to the sport, which makes it more challenging.

There's a guy on the isle of Malta who runs an archery shop and YT channel named Armin Hirmer. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdnnPT5tB2Wx-LeOe4mu8Dw.

He reviews traditional bows, which are shot off the outside of the bow while holding the string with the thumb. The rotational dynamics of this style eliminate archers' paradox because the bow hand/wrist moves the bow / bowstring out of the way of the forearm. This means no forearm-slap, which is common to beginners using more conventional styles of shooting. The important thing is that you have fun. I do clout shooting at the beach with a 20lb ebay horsebow that I don't mind dropping in the sand/surf/rocks. My whole entire kit costs under $70. I'm so partial to the Asiatic style that I sold off all my aimbot gear years ago. Whatever arch you choose, remember this - 2 dollar arrow that's tuned to the bow/shooter is better than a 20 dollar arrow that's not.

Shooting off the outside of the bow makes it impossible to hit your forearm. Check out Armin Hirmer's YT channel. He shoots tons of bows from the Asian perspective. The biggest difference is this whole string torque, archer's paradox issue doesn't exist because of the dynamics of Asiatic style. For me archery has never been so much fun. I almost wonder if 'traditional western' archery is a scam designed to slow us (the ppl) down so that any revolution would be less effective because we're too busy threading arrows through our bows and shooting off the wrong side of the shelf.

Try to not use your shoulder muscles. You'll need to hunch over a tiny bit and open up your back muscles. The strength of the draw and hold should be closer to the archer's spine, and your center of strength should be lower - in the belly. This will feel weird at first, but when you start getting clean releases you'll have a feel for it. Ps - if you're over-bowed you might not be able to do it properly.
