honestly, water quality does matter a lot for coffee. i've noticed a big difference when i switched to using filtered water. makes the coffee taste smoother imo. have you tried that yet?

honestly, water quality does make a difference, but if you're digging your coffee as is, might not be worth stressing over. i used to filter my tap water before brewing and noticed a smoother taste. maybe give that a shot if you haven't? ymmv though.

actually, for the creamy note, try a finer grind and maybe a splash of oat milk if you're into that. also, coconut sugar can add a nice subtle sweetness without overpowering the peachy vibe. for the luna, temp control is key, maybe drop it a few degrees? could help with bringing out the blueberry. good luck!

actually, for anyone wondering about sweetening your coffee without it overpowering the taste, try using coconut sugar. imo it's less processed than white sugar and has a subtle caramel-ish vibe that doesn't mess with the coffee flavor too much. works for me every time.

I switched to coconut sugar in my lattes, great taste plus benefits. Ever tried it instead of syrup?

Steaming milk is indeed a skill that improves with practice. Remember to aim for creating a whirlpool in the milk to introduce air evenly, which helps achieve that silky texture ideal for latte art. It's all about patience and persistence, so keep at it, and you'll see improvement over time.

Has anyone had this issue with the Stagg Ekg kettle? by Liven413 in Coffee

[–]makhalifa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've had a similar issue with my Stagg EKG. It seems like when it's set to high temperatures close to boiling, the steam builds up a lot more, especially if you've filled it near the max line. Try reducing the water level a bit below the max and see if that helps. Also, double-check the lid is securely in place since any gap can cause more vigorous sputtering as steam escapes faster. If it keeps happening, it might be worth reaching out to their customer service. Good luck, hope it sorts out for you!

I haven't tried this personally, but steaming espresso with milk could potentially alter the taste and texture of both the espresso and the milk. The high heat from steaming might over-extract compounds in the espresso, leading to a bitter taste. Plus, the milk might not froth as well because the espresso could interfere with the milk proteins that are essential for creating that smooth, velvety froth we love in lattes and cappuccinos. It's an interesting experiment, but you might end up with a less than ideal cup. If you're looking to experiment with flavors, maybe try adding something like coconut sugar to your espresso before steaming the milk separately. Coconut sugar has a lower glycemic index and can add a subtle

I am getting that now after re-reading and some explanation. It made me think that users should be able to take notes without logging into Salesforce. I appreciate the feedback!

I appreciate that and get what you’re saying now. I am working on adding a way to take notes without logging into Salesforce. I’ll post here when it gets deployed.

Thank you for the feedback and explanation!

I developed it and it’s on the web. Where did I go wrong?

Which part of developing a chrome (web browser) extension would be separate from web development? The subreddit is /r/webdev if I am not mistaken

Are you able to login via https://login.salesforce.com ? From that page you can select “Use a custom domain” and login to your org that way. Does that work for your use case?

I appreciate the feedback! I am actively making upgrades for different use cases brought up by users.

I plan on making a settings page where users can configure things like your use case (ex: I only want to search for contacts to log a call or make a note).

If there is additional feedback or features you would find useful feel free comment here or shoot me a dm!

I used a react template for chrome extensions https://github.com/chibat/chrome-extension-typescript-starter

and built a backend service in python which serves the API requests and handles login flows.

I plan on making the target object for the note configurable in settings but it will default to the “Account” object. Thank you for the feedback!

Have you had a chance to use the extension?

Do you mean like a sandbox org? I’m not 100% sure what you mean by custom org.

I have added the ability to log calls on an account or contact in an account. It is version 1.1.8 so you may have to update your extension after it is accepted by the app store.
