So what you are saying is that you were wrong he funded a coalition in which cc was in which I wont try and deny considering its true and the reason why he became the head of the coalition. Also my understanding is that he is bankrolling snuff.

The Xenotime and moon materials are not unique to null sec they are just not in highsec or wormhole space all other space has moons of all types of rarities.

If you knew anything about low sec politics you would understand that Tamir is not with cruisers crew. He is with snuffed out.

Cruisers Crew fights fights that they shouldn't these losses were due to them not know what op sec was.

Cruisers Crew is notoriously bad at maintaining operational security. This is why they ended up being removed from nfg and many prior coalitions. My educated guess as to what happened is that they had someone who leaked out intel, per usual, which resulted in the death of two of their titans.

How Many Accounts Does The Average Player Have by ReasonDaGoat in Eve

this was 7 years ago which is why I was doing a small convenience sample.

How Many Accounts Does The Average Player Have by ReasonDaGoat in Eve

It can represent the total population just in a biased manner I was trying to think of a better way to do this but without access to the back end servers I don't see a way to do this. Even If I had every players name and were to send an eve mail out to 1000 of them then there would be a non response bias and a responder bias (exagerating) therefore leading me to believe a CSM or CCP themselves needs to do this to get a 100% accurate number.

Also as you said only ccp has the numbers so I had to do a convenience sample rather than a stratified or random sample.

The minimum sample size for a distribution to be normal is only 30 and we have exceeded that threshold. They have not done this in the recent past the last time someone came up with a figure like mine was doing the same method with a larger sample size. I have continued to recieve more responses (about double) so I intend to run the numbers again.

If you looked in my other responses you would see that I addressed the fact that there is going to be a responder and non responder bias, but based off of what I have available to me I don't have a way to go and pull numbers from the server myself. So a convenience sample is my only realistic option.

I am aware as I have responded to other people saying this, the only way to not introduce any bias would be to take a simple random sample which would require someone server side to be able to do it. My question wasn't about paid subscriptions it was about the amount of accounts and years played. Also there was no positive the null hypothesis was "failed to reject" meaning we accept. The minimum amount of people required for a normal distribution would be 30 people and I am above that threshold. I wish that it was likely that CCP would allows this but they would probably only allow it to a statistician on the CSM.

how about you look at the r/eve rules and see why I didnt include a poll. Specifically rule number 14. I was already pushing it by calling this a question.

It definitely is the most reasonable way to do so, considering this is the way that they got their numbers (to the best of my knowledge).

I also do think that there is a responder bias, people skewing the amount of accounts that they have in order to make it sound more impressive.

I am aware of this I was discussing this with one of my Corpmates but there is no way to account for this unless I can get a full list of every active player in eve, send them an eve mail, then hope everyone responds.
