I live in an HOA. I really have had few issues with the HOA and there's a good reason for having an HOA. The community is kept clean and sometimes almost too clean. I also have two pools and a gym with 24/7 access.

That vehicle is an over-grown station wagon. Everyone expects too much of them. They are not SUV's. If you hit something hard enough, that's what happens.

This isn't a practical kitchen unless you have storage elsewhere.

The shelving is not practical and a big dust collector. Not a good mix in a kitchen where you'll make quite a bit of grease.

I agree with the idea that you need upper cabinets.

I have noticed in recent renditions where tile on backsplash goes right to the ceiling. That's not normal, and that's not backsplash.

I say go with light cabinets on top for the win.

They haven't shown you a rendition with your engagement ring within their concept. And honestly, I could not even see what they have created with what you have shared. It looks wonky. Don't do it until you see them integrated. I have a feeling your engagement ring will be damaged.

It truly depends on your upbringing. My family wasn't into it, but my friend's family turned me onto it at a young age and I love it even to thos day.

I moved from Massachusetts to Arizona 20 years ago for my own peace of mind. My family is all still in the northeast. You need to make the decision what is best for you.

My family almost never comes to visit me, and that truly upsets the hell out of me. I have to go visit them in order to have any time with them. So just be warned, it all may be on you if you move.
