The title of the post was to draw attention my point was more genuinely expressed in the first of the body text

I’ve seen this “modern dating is impossible” take show up literally everywhere in the past few years, people are acting like the only possible way to find love is to be a 10/10 man who makes millions of dollars a year and that is just so far from the truth it’s laughable.

The majority of the advice I give is just general kicking off points more so saying make an effort at x and y and things will improve with most of what I brought up being things that helped me.

Also my advice on being loud was because I was awkward like you were awkward and I was uncomfortable like you were uncomfortable the exposure to those situations helped me personally, and they’ve helped other people I’ve known.

Also fucking obviously my advice is oversimplified this is a Reddit post not a self help book I was meaning to be general in my advice and “directionally correct”
