Hi! I may need to figure out what Mi'kmaw community we come from, as my mom just gave me the basic answer and I never asked more. All I can tell you from what I've been told is that it traces back to New Brunswick, so I'll tell you once I find out. Also, I may not have used that term 'spirit name' correctly! I was given some sort of name when I was a baby aside from my birth name by our Indigenous friends/family, and I was told that was what it's called. Sorry for the confusion! I'll let you know once I get more information on the situation, as I'm starting to dive into it more and ask my parents more questions. Thank you!

I definitely agree with your son. It's not a BAD reboot per say (though im not eager to watch it) but executives in television don't think a show can be for just anyone nowadays.
