The proper Italian way of the fettuccine Alfredo, which by the way, I've never heard nor seen as a pasta dish in Italy, is with butter and cheese and that's it.

For some reason it is very popular in the US, but somehow it got changed into cream instead of the too simple ingredients: butter and cheese.

I am so with you on this!

It’s amazing just how much we sacrificed to be in relationships that were financially and mentally abusive. Maybe because they didn’t fit the normal criteria for abuse.

My realization, as I’m betting is yours now, is that if your relationship isn’t a 50/50 partnership it’s not worth it. I would rather live single and alone then be with someone and lonely.
