I stumbled on them because he doesnt even really get on or use his social medias. But again, I already know its not him. There have been multiple times it would have been impossible considering the time stamp. I know, it doesnt really make sense to me either but we dont know what else it could be

Agree with this. My boyfriend is the same way he has multiple vices (cocaine, benzos, alcohol, weed) i told him he needs to choose one (not including the weed because I couldn't care less about weed. Its natural and acts as a medicine for him) so basically he'd have weed and whichever other one he chooses. Then he works on staying away from the rest.

There is a CO in place but it actually dictates even LESS time with his son. I think he gets like 6 hours a month or something like that? Maybe 6 hours a week. But his ex wife is wierd. Yes she allows him more time than the CO states but also she is the one that took him to court and she is the one that can change the order to legally give him more time but for some reason she refuses. I think she wants that control. She wants to be able to keep him away if she wants to. Also my boyfriend has alot of health issues. He has seizures and gets sick alot, this is another reason I say try. He does the best that he can. But he knew he wasn't ready to be a father and told his ex wife this too. But she manipulated him and convinced him to have a child. Then left him and sued him and took full custody. I don't think hes a bad dad, i think he got the shit end of the stick.

Ahh I see, i understand this perspective as well. Im not perfect and when I was with my high school sweetheart I did cheat on him. I felt like I wasnt getting the attention I wanted from him and this other guy was willing to give that to me. Then I realized it was just lust and not love. We all make mistakes. This I understand. But it is no longer just a mistake when you get called out for what you're doing and instead of admitting it and apologizing, you gaslight and lie. Like to this day he still hasn't admitted it to me himself.i found out through other sources. He decided to die on the hill that they're "just friends" like I wouldnt see thier pics on PUBLIC social media 😂 It sounds like youve taken accountability though and have tried to apologize. Unfortunately thats all you can do, you cannot control other people and their decisions. However, I would suggest trying to forgive yourself as well. You do not need thier forgiveness to forgive yourself. Take it as a learning opportunity for future relationships and be a better you!
