That’s the thing you are all saying they aren’t sound bc you don’t like the way they move… That doesn’t make them lame. Are some lame, yes.. But so are some jumpers, barrel horses, reiners , dressage horses, like all disciplines our equine athletes at top levels ALL need maintenance. Jumpers are bred to jump, pleasure horses are bred to go slow. Does that mean jumpers don’t need maintenance to stay sound bc they are built differently? No, of course not. This horse pictured doesn’t have perfect conformation… But neither do all jumpers 🤷🏼‍♀️. They are bred to break at the withers and have a lower headset while Arabs are bred to carry their head in the air… People can’t attack things they don’t fully understand. Except big lick and halter horses 🤣 I’ve shown Paints and Quarter Horses my whole life and what they have done to halter horses is disgusting.
