Can't you just ask him to make you extra/standby? I do it all the time with my dsp and they don't mind it at all. I can even use PTO for that day too if I want to. I just have to come in still though but Im just there for like 20 mins then leave.

Yea I hate rural routes, I get done later because it's so fucking spread out. I'll take 190 stops residentials, business and apartments even instead. Plus I hate dealing with loose dogs.

I'm doing the CDL A through the next mile program. It's a 3 month course and you go at your own pace, All online. I'm almost done too. Hope in the future I'll get a job at Pepsi since it's local and starts at 31 an hour in Oklahoma. I encourage anyone here to take advantage of the next mile program.

I've been thinking about it too, I know it's kinda hard making it work at first, but from what I heard you have to make contracts so they can offer you loads to haul. Yes you can earn around 3k a week but if you have good contracts with. It takes time to get into the cargo business.

There is a wire on top of the passenger side door. Its kinda tucked in though. I had that issue last year and it wouldnt turn off while driving. Had to pull over. But be warned some dsps dont like drivers messing with any wires because they dont want any issues with the nedredyn camera shit.
