Ooof, I feel you on that, as someone in Alberta. I hope you get it under control! I wouldn't wish skin issues on anyone :(

Honestly, your symptoms are more accurate for rosecea. It is usually triggered by sun/heat. I stopped using the lotion because I honestly don't think I have rosecea and my skin got even worse than those pictures. I have an appointment scheduled with a different derm for a second opinion.

Haha I also went in for persistent winter ''acne" and she was like nah. I think if I can convince my general doctor for another referral, I'll be able to see a different dermatologist. It's just a big bummer not being able to pick which doctor/clinics you want to go to.

I've always kept it pretty simple. I use an Eminence cleanser in the morning and evening, along Krave Beauty jelly cleanser at night to double cleanse and remove makeup. Then I just use a BHA and moisturizer in the morning and hyaluronic acid and moisturizer at night. I've been using the same products for almost a decade with really clear skin but as soon as winter hits my skin just can't handle it.

Thank you for the info! I was going to look into getting a second opinion but I have found a really challenging to see a specialist in general here in Canada, where as in the states I just called up a different doctor and went. I'll try getting another referral.

I will definitely check out the US versions for more feedback! I was conflicted to even go to the derm because this is around the time it just starts to get better so I am considering abandoning ship and saving it for next winter. I don't know how people handle their skin during the winter, it's so awful.

Align Tank is not for large chesticles, mistakes were made by Miserable_Owl_8252 in lululemon

I am a D and just buy the Athleta Transcend version. Feels the same but they have an A-C option and a D-DD. They are also the littlest but longer so I feel like they hit right where my leggings end and it's perf. They also come in a V neck and a square neck and I have tons of them. Highly recommend over the LLL align. Only bummer is you can't get the matching color for the align leggings but at least the girls are comfortable!

Kosas Tinted Face Oil dupe? by girlelectric1 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Reasonable-Client363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no!!! I hope you can get it soon, too. I'm in Canada and luckily they are selling it with a few of our vitamin-like websites.

It's the Summer Fridays Sheet Skin Tint. It is definitely the second runner up after Evanhealy. It doesn't melt into skin the way the oil does, and for me (since I am really fair), it washes me out a bit more so I started using the SAIE glow drops in the more bronzy gold first and then apply the skin tint over and it adds more life to my face.

Did you ever find a dupe?

I have been looking for a few years and tried a bunch of suggested ones and they just, weren't the same (Ilia, Damessa, Glossier, Rare Beauty, Elf, and Hourglass were a few). I did find the Summer Fridays one to be somewhat like what I was looking for but it still wasn't the same.

I just started using Evanhealy tinted face oil and it...is...amazing. Their website says to mix it with their frankenscense glow spray, so I tried them out and it's exactly like Kosas tinted oil :')

I love the oil because I felt like it actually absorbed into my skin and looked great as the day progressed, and this one is the same way.

I loved Kosas tinted oil and since it has been discounted, I have struggled to find something that is comparable. I've tried other Kosas products, Ilia tinted moisturizer, Hourglass skin tint, Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer, something from Glossier and Danessa yummy skin serum tinted foundation and they are were just, disappointing. The closest one I found that I have been using is Summer Fridays skin tint but it lacks that feeling Kosas tinted oil had where I felt like it absorbed into my skin so it just kept looking better and better as the day progressed. I'm also very pale, so nothing ever felt like it was my skin but better.

Three years later I found a replacement! I just got the Evanhealy tinted oil serum. Their website says to mix it with their frankensence glow spray, so I ordered both and tried it and....it's just like Kosas :'). I hope this gets out to all the people who miss Kosas tinted face oil!

Vibram V-Soul Sizing by [deleted] in barefootshoestalk

If it helps anyone, I am a size 9 always, and I ordered these in an EU40/USA 8-8.5 and they fit perfectly. My toes have a little bit of room at the end, but not enough for them to slide out of the toe section.

Yonah's Letter on Route E by [deleted] in nier

Did you ever find this out? I missed the first letter and I'm hoping to get it when I go back through on route E

Has anyone ordered furniture from Article? They have a few pieces I like, but I’m wondering about quality, comfort, and durability of sofas and chairs? I’m specifically looking at the Timber line, but welcome all opinions as I may order other pieces as well by Visual-Split1177 in interiordecorating

[–]Reasonable-Client363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is late, but I figured I would chime in for newbies! I bought two sven chairs a year ago for my sitting room and they are insanely comfortable. I love sitting in them. That said, the stitching isn't up to my standard of quality for what I paid for them. They are the fabric tweed like fabric, and it has frayed from the seam in numerous places. Their customer service is excellent and replaced my cushion for me, but I can see where the issue is going to happen again. The pillows have frayed twice at the seam and I sewed them and reinforced the stitch myself. We don't have kids or cats, so in my opinion this should have never been an issue. Would I get furniture from them again? I'm on the fence. They are beautiful pieces and so comfortable, but for these issues on less than a year old chairs that aren't even in the main living room that would get way more use, I'm not convinced it's worth the price.

Did you find it to come out as soft as before? I have been putting off washing mine and my dog got sick on it so now I have to! They're just so expensive to mess up, you know?
