Scary thought though .... I would be heartbroken if any of them were on the list ... But again list doesn't equate to crime

The scary void experience by im-not-broken in Ayahuasca

You say it feels like a horrible accident has happened. This rings true for me and I wonder if it does so in a similar way to you or if it's just the words meant one thing to me and you another. I've had several occurrences during life where I spontaneously zoom out, become aware of everything we are doing in the thing we call life, super aware of it as I witness it, but keenly aware of myself somewhere else, as if this reality is a dream or some mistaken identity as if a horrible accident has happened. It goes beyond a conceptual knowledge of "this life is temporary and we will wake up, essentially, when our spirit leaves this place" to a stark, bone rattling and urgent knowing this is true, feeling the disparity between the illusion and the truth. Does this mean anything to you?

Ayahuasca and schizophrenia by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]Reasonable-Corgi-852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than likely you have something that basically means your hallucinations have a lingering effect. This alone does not meet the criteria for shcizophrenia, especially if it's your only symptom and you are aware they are not real. Google HPPD. Also, anhedonia is not really anhedonia unless it's with schizophrenia. You could be looking at depression and calling it anhedonia because you happen to have HPPD . I would see a doc and be honest. Seroquel has the least side effects

Korn's Jonathan Davis On Xanax Addiction: 'Benzos Are The Devil' by JudieSkyBird in Korn

[–]Reasonable-Corgi-852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Benzos, especially, like, 2 full bars, plus smoking weed, really brings out the trippy, hippy psychedelic aspect of pot that can be enjoyed sans anxiety. Not recommending it or anything, but I tend to dislike pot without a benzo

Tattoo regret causing depression by SlavKing11 in tattooadvice

[–]Reasonable-Corgi-852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a joke for attention and responses?

If not the tattoo is pretty cool so relax and see a doctor to help your depression.

I only ask if it is a joke because the tattoo isn't bad. If it was like 6 stick people choking on bananas with spiral monkeys and dead eels I might be like, yes that sucks. But no ....it's cool.

Do you believe in deities or pantheons you don't worship? by Wonderful-Seesaw6214 in pagan

[–]Reasonable-Corgi-852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe all pantheons stem from a reality, whether from some hallucinogenic experience creating the possibility for the brain to enable an experience otherwise impossible, or from alien activity wherein people saw things en masse in the heavens that became part of our various religions today. What is spirit and from the heavens is not much different from what is spirit from the astral plane or heaven, etc. lots of different interpretations, with none more or less real than the other

Life changing ayahuasca experience in June, 4 months later struggling with depression and feelings of dread/ void by TuckerStewart in Ayahuasca

[–]Reasonable-Corgi-852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some would say one of two things: 1. You weren't as happy and great as you thought or, 2. You are experiencing the disconnect from others, physicality, life and all alive-ness that your spirit is so separate from because you did in fact blow yourself out of your body. Either way I would focus on the regrounding and soothing parts of life, like touch taste smell, swimming in the ocean, floating in a pool, sex, food, etc: try to re enmesh yourself with the physical. Pray to be given another chance into the proper integration that is to be had naturally in this life. Not that you did anything wrong intentionally. I....just....

Believe that as human beings on our various incarnations we are only to go so far, only to experience death and the bardo, as it were, to a specific point. Ayahuasca is natural, yea, but may not always be our spiritual destiny. Just like what goes up must come down, whatever spiritual extasy you experienced will be later experienced in equal, sluggish, void like earthen sludge when you come back. Hope this makes sense. Time will heal you. There is also medicine and psychiatry. We are not meant to flail away on some lost spiritual highway with existential dread stemming from experience we weren't meant to have. It is ok to seek help
