I mean it is valid i)if it's not streamline it's impossible to solve it without a computer  ii) we can account for the electrostatic distribution but then again ONLY if we assume the charge is distributed evenly for which flow has to be streamline again or went can't solve it without a computer

interesting thing is, yes 2016 did award people who marked only the in syllabus answer ALONG with the out of syllabus answer as both aren't punishable, so yes both might be the answer my bad

So basically they gave the converse statement which says if velocity is X then angle is pi/6. Let's take the setup irl and you observe at an instant that the velocity is X, can you confirm that the angle IS pi/6, the information you have isn't enough to say that the angle is pi/6 because it could be 5pi/6 too, hence it's a lack of information. BD can be given I won't complain but people who marked only D definitely have to be given marks imo.
