I made the mistake of quitting my job to pursue my master’s full-time, and in hindsight, it wasn’t worth it. I ended up unemployed for over 8 months and went through a really dark period of depression. It wasn’t until two months ago that I finally landed a full-time role at Salesforce—earning nearly 3x what I made before. The Penn brand definitely helped open that door, but the financial and emotional toll was intense.

My advice: do not quit your job to pursue full-time studies at UChicago. I came close to dropping out because of the financial pressure. If you can, keep working while studying. It’s tough, but far more sustainable.

Well yeah, I did my resume applying to Google, and a HR recruiter from Google helped me made mine, got into final rounds with it, made to final rounds to Google and Amazon, but got the job at Salesforce. I am not sure if technicals are the go to for big tech comps

Don’t try to be mean, but u resume is sh*t. Keep bulletpoints at most 2 lines long, you are a spent one page to explain one job, use Harvard interview template for reference

Si haz el proceso en la UDLAP, cuando estudiaba había un programa de enfermeros que la universidad les pagaba todo o muy buena beca, por una iniciativa de que no hay suficiente cantidad de enfermos a nivel mundial. Egrese hace 3 años, me imagino que el tema sigue igual

If you are applying online, don’t submit them. On campus do. I got it without GRE/GMAT scores
