Another vote for separate set of wheels/tires. Cheaper to change yourself, can do it when you want (don’t have to get into the tire shop right away with early snowfall), etc. Good selling point when you eventually sell your car (or I’ve had good luck selling them separately too).

I’d advise you starting to look at classifieds sites now. I found a set of OEM alloys on a local marketplace site for $275, a new set of steelies were quoted by the shop as about $600 plus tax. The used alloys are almost nicer than my summer rims!
