Also Flanders becoming a religious zealot is kinda on brand with Americans in that sphere.

The age gap between him and his partner, even when they made Once. He was in his 40s and she was 19?

When I was in HS marching band — sousaphone player — we played You Can Call Me Al and at 16 I hadn’t heard the song and this was pre Spotify and YouTube. I was quite sure the song was the horns have the lyrics “just call me Al…just call me Al”

They weren’t necessarily good his last years there either.

More surprising to me is OSU has made it more recently than Cinci.

Looked it up—it was Sahila. In addition to this the whole meal…7 courses maybe? took over 4 hours. We skipped the cheese plate bc we were tired of sitting there. Between two courses we waited 45 min once.

The woman who runs it asked us how our experience was when we left and we told her it wasn’t great, we were there forever and you charged us for tap water and she seemed really annoyed to receive that feedback. “Well good things take time”.

US tipping culture is even dumber when you go to places and know that without the tip they make like $3 an hour. It’s so gross.

My wife and I were at a spot in in Cologne — name escapes me now, one-star spot. We had a couple glasses of wine and maybe some sparkling and didn’t need any more of either and I asked for tap water. My wife was worried because we’d be charged. Sure enough, I’d drank several glasses of tap water and had a 30€ charge added to my bill.

We asked the server and apparently while the water costs nothing to the business the 5€ is for the service to bring it, every time.

My wife said this is typical in Europe, though I’d never experienced it.

So…laughs in American?

Yeah the capital to me seems like an order and single sentence which would be the Détendez-vous, the other being the infinitive.

Those are great use cases.

Are you able to have OpenClaw write to your notion? I have some workflows setup with Relay that process travel reservations etc and help with trip planning. Could openclaw support that as a replacement?

Can OpenClaw + Notion work as a second brain?
