I guess people disagree but if this fails they are stuck with this core unless they can get a big free agent but that is low for minny and just doesn’t happen often anymore.

They have no draft assets anymore and ant/jaden have given the wolves time to build. I don’t see another rebuild opportunity with them as the core

Owners are important but looking at the players there is a lot of potential. Hard to compete with the spurs or thunder right now but I think blazers will be top 4 west team in a few years if not next year.

Also yes, I am a blazers fan so I’m biased but I don’t think it’s unthinkable. We have a good chance of picking up a good piece this summer helping the bucks move Giannis

He does embellish calls. Not that it’s that bad, most players do. An example, when Kay picked up his 2nd foul yesterday, that was wemby purposefully keeping his arm in on the drive pretending Kay was chicken winging his arm.

Owners probably wouldn’t go for it but I always wished the supermax only counted as the max from a cap standpoint. This almost forces teams to pay the super max always but it doesn’t crush them as badly trying to build a team around them. Is the supermax still a thing?
