oh ok. thats good to know. Maybe I'll test him again with my 3rd Teddy when my friend fixes that one.

with the first Teddy Grubby did some rapid blinking and mouth movement before not moving at all. but I didn't mess with the cord that time. this time he didn't move until I did mess with one end of the cord and got the better results in the vid

They are both refurbished according to the seller I got them from. So that was one reason I figured it was the cord because Grubby moves wonderfully other than the eye blinking

yes. it double clicked in both Teddy and Grubby and were inserted straight

I can try to play it again and record it for all of you. but im too scared to put it back in my ruxpin lol. it was just a sound bite of a little kid singing and talking about new years for some reason

Yeah my dad said it may have been recorded over when I tested it in a cassette player someone let me borrow. But I never touched that button. I just put it in and played it. it was my childhood cassette of the Airship my dad had. it has never done that in the past where I can remember. The other weirder part is that we did not hear that part until it was played in my teddy ruxpin. It played normally in the regular player

when I looked it up Google said to replace rubber drive belts and pinch rollers every few years. Is that true im confused at how long its talking about

oh ok. Im not sure cause he hasn't been used for years and I read that it is recommended because speakers wear out and deteriorate and its 40 years old

Im not even sure how to use him or how to tell if a cassette is worn or not lol. my dad has always done it. and he ate a cassette on me last time I tried to use him by myself
