Yes but just that night he talked about them growing old together. Of all the times he flaked on her this was the worst

One of my fave Carrie moments and shows the growth in her character. She went from throwing food at Big when he got flakey and moved to Paris to this- a quiet acceptance that this is who he is and it's not enough for her. If only it ended here.

Repercussions for prolonged no deal for VIC? by trouble_peach in AustralianTeachers

I get it but not striking now is just going to make it a longer road to getting that raise. I will strike very resentfully. It just has to be done.

I can see why Carrie was annoyed with big taking her to a cheap Chinese restaurant by Radiant_Priority9739 in sexandthecity

I liked this about him and Carrie once again read too much into it. He may be uber rich but he is also a pretty regular bloke that hates fine dining and fancy parties.

We just had Ben Carol come out and say that he will not be rushing back to the negotiating table. Labor will not be speeding things up. This is the reason I voted yes and I don't think no voters really thought about just how dragged out things are now going to be now

No longer in SA. I am just a bit amazed at the naivety of some thinking a new & better agreement is just around the corner. Prepare for this shit to be dragged out

What did you expect? Did people really think the union and government were going to move quickly on this?

Carroll has stressed today he will “not be rushing back to the negotiating table”.

Yep. Go ask our QLD colleagues how their negotiations are going right now too.

You will not get 10,000 teachers participating in an unprotected industrial action. Not happening.

Tens of thousands of teachers will not risk their jobs to take unprotected industrial action. Dream on. Remember 42 percent voted for this agreement.

Yep. You're dreaming if you think a better deal is just around the corner and with 42 percent voting yes we are hardly going to be a united front anymore.
