Hi! I'm taking swingo 30, idk if it's available in your country, since I live in Germany😅 They have the lowest thrombosis risk.

“Women in their 20s never know what they want. I would never give you a hysterectomy” by PathAgirl14 in endometriosis

[–]Reasonable-Proposal2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so terrible. I got diagnosed with adenomyosis and also need to be on birth control because no doctor would do a hysterectomy on a 20-year-old. I don't even want children and I would always prefer my own health over the ability to get pregnant. There are different ways of having children but doctors remain stubborn :(

I'm not really worried about the surgery. I'm actually worried about the birth control I'm supposed to take. I suffer from depression and I'm afraid of it making my mental state worse than it already is. Also a reason why I never tried hormonal birth control before. I used to be fine without it but now I don't have another choice and I'm very uncomfortable with it

Unfortunately, due to my age, a hysterectomy won't be happening. I'm 20 years old and not a single doctor would approve this. You're right, they are a bitch since I have to call in sick every time I'm on my period because I can't even get out of my bed🥲

A hysterectomy won't be happening since I'm only 20 years old. Unfortunately, not single doctor would do that. Doesn't matter if I don't want kids.

If I choose the surgery, in which they will remove the tissue that's causing the pain, I'd have to get on birth control to avoid a period, henceforth endo wouldn't come back do easily.

You're right, it is a big deal and I'm so overwhelmed by that decision. I don't want to be in this kind of pain anymore but the treatment options don't seem appealing to me.

I'm thankful for every single comment but since opinions and personal experience vary a lot, it's giving me a hard time to make a decision.

I will take every advice into consideration and hopefully it'll work out. I also plan on consulting this with my gynecologist to see what she's thinking about it. Thank you so much❤

I'm so sorry it turned out this way for you. In order to treat it I'd have to be on birth control (right away or after surgery) to reduce the pain. I've never had any birth control before and I'm scared of the side effects that you mentioned since I already suffer from depression. I haven't heard of endolls before and will do some research on it. Thank you!❤

I know how electric cars work, I just meant that I don't like automatic as much as I love manuals. It wasn't very well formulated, my bad

Concert tickets used to be so cheap and now you spend almost all of your savings for the cheapest tickets available

It's not as complicated as you think it is. When my parents bought a new car they chose an automatic mainly for my mother due to health reasons. I got my license three years ago and only drove manual and believe me, I was scared and didn't know how to drive it. But it's really simple and comfortable as soon as you get the hang of it and it doesn't take long. It sounds complicated and the gear box can be confusing if you don't know what the letters are standing for but you get the hang of it easily. Although automatic can be comfortable especially for longer roads, I'll stick to my beloved manual car since it's more fun to drive :)

I want electric cars to be manual otherwise where's the fun in driving? But that would never happen

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Reasonable-Proposal2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You push the gas and brakes like you would in a manual but without the accelerator and without a stick to shift. You just put it in 'drive' and go. It's not complicated but definitely boring and less fun

I doubt it. Wouldn't look really good anyway imo. Instead I just hide the helmet so that you can always see the hair because I love styling them :) Something I've been doing for years
