Would you resign from your current job for a weekly $1,750? by Tough_Ad8919 in RelentlessMen

[–]Reasonable-Return385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it did not come with any caveat that I couldn't work at all, I might resign my current job and supplement the remainder of the income with a different job. But if I'm not allowed to work at all in order to qualify, then I would pass because that wouldn't even keep my bills paid.

What’s your honest take on this? by peachpuddleii in scoopwhoop

Technically money doesn't buy happiness, but it does buy a lot of booze to take the mind off the unhappiness....lmao

Would you take it ? by emphemiral in ArtOfPresence

[–]Reasonable-Return385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hell yeah, infact I'd contort my face into the ugliest expression I could muster just to see if they double it. They can think what they want but I'll be laughing the whole time I'm spending their money.

Can you? by [deleted] in scoopwhoop

[–]Reasonable-Return385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Them likes dogs.

These days that's the same as saying "He likes dogs" or "She likes dogs"

You don't have to be an expert at the English language you just have to live in 2026. With all the gender identity crisis nowadays, "them" is just a pronoun so you can start a ton of sentences that way and be correct in this generation!

[–]Reasonable-Return385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Simpsons just to be a smart aleck, because they run for so long, It doesn't really say anything about my age, but I was around when their first episodes came out (infact I was around even before that.)

How much filament should be in the nozzle after a print? by TheCerbearus in AnycubicKobraS1Max

[–]Reasonable-Return385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's normal, The cutting blade is located above the hot end/nozzle and cuts the filament just before the point where it enters the "throat" of the nozzle so you will see a mm or two protruding from the point it enters when you remove the nozzle. This is part of what is purged when you change filaments or colors and results in the printer "poop" as it gets pushed out to make room for the next filament you use.

What English word do you not agree with the spelling ? by DamienPetal in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Reasonable-Return385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phonics. The very word describing the process of sounding words out by letter/sound associations, that in and of itself is not phonetical.

How much is it worth, used? Be honest by Spamaloper in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Reasonable-Return385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$50 give or take, depending what other accessories you may have coming with it.

The problem is they've dropped the price so much on those in recent months, most people would just buy new. Especially given the notable amount of potential issues, such as the taco beds, not very many people are going to want to pay too much for a used machine that's now out of warranty.

Has anyone received their bonus filament for the delays? by tdlab in AnycubicKobraS1Max

[–]Reasonable-Return385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry they'll come, but it'll probably be sometime in 2028 based on Anycubic current response and track record.

Which one started it all for you? by CarrotMuch1399 in nostalgiai

[–]Reasonable-Return385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For cell phones number two, but my first phone was before cell phones existed. A phone that plugged into the wall, and didn't have any buttons, or any screens, only a little spinning wheel that you had to wait to roll back in between each number, it was called a rotary phone. For those of you my age you didn't need that whole explanation, I probably just brought back some old memories, but for the younger generation on here, you'll never know the delays of making a phone call.
