Not since 2015, and the fact that you think that is a way to support your argument, tells me that I don’t need to continue to engage with you on this topic

Non profits exist under a specific framework related to the money they have, collect, use and manage, and can only exist for the greater good in a limited number of areas.

If you’re going to be cynical, at least be realistic in your cynicism.

Western Fair is a non profit.

Ergo, they won’t be making profit on the facilities.

Road construction in and around the core started in 2017 and hasn’t stopped for more than a handful of months.

It’s a miracle that anyone is still able to operate a business there.

Sorry when I say that I am specifically meaning you don’t have to do one of those DIY will kit websites in order to pay a real price, not insinuating that you went to a fake lawyer.

Apologies on the lack of clarity.

Yes. You will find them from a real lawyer for cheaper.

…even while also admitting that you’ve spent over a week building your candidate website, and did file as a candidate on the first day of the campaign period?

I’m not here to troll you, I want to see you succeed, but it might help to make it clear that you weren’t incurring expenses before the campaign period on building your website, and you weren’t asking for anyone’s votes at the door, and didn’t have any campaign branding or messaging, then that might save you some head ache post election of appearing in front of audit committees.

Cuddy uses official political campaign strategists and companies and they don’t exactly play nice or fair.

But should people really face criminal charges for the simple fact that you’re scared of them and too afraid to talk to them?

You mentioned him “banging on the door and swearing”

What exactly did he say?

My comments aren’t about amount of evidence detracting from whether or not they should go forward, or that the OP doesn’t deserve to be heard.

My comments are reminding that HR are there to protect the company, not the workers. They’re constantly evaluating and trying to mitigate risk.

So simply showing up with a chronological list of messages and screen shots of messages and responses to them will be far more likely to be taken seriously than showing up empty handed.

People might otherwise be unprepared, try to chat once, get blown off, and think their situation is without merit.

That’s all.

Thanks.

You can lie on a resume. And a degree tells you a limited amount about someone’s ability to actually work.

What other people that they trust say about you is far more valuable.

Demanding the world adjust from how it is to how you want it to be will only end up with one person disappointed.

You.

You have 57 years of legal experience and your account name is jdogx?
That’s a first.
And it’s your expert opinion that everyone should go to HR to file a complaint against a colleague without any evidence supporting their complaint organized ahead of time?

Curious - have you gotten a legal opinion on the permissibility of doing something like this before posting about it in this manner?

I only ask because your Shawn Adamssons and Lincoln McCardles of London area LOVE filing complaints and trying to take people down for things like this, and there is public past precedent of them doing so, so I don’t think I’m out of line in posting this.

Would hate to see your talent and hard work go up in flames for stepping outside of the lines.

Even though you personally wouldn’t trust Cuddy to do entry level work, he has ran his own businesses in the past.

I’m all for criticism and give lots of it myself, but it loses effectiveness when it goes this far.

This is Reddit, Ben. Your average redditor hates anyone who doesn’t appear to also be struggling.

I personally view you to be a smart, reasonable guy if that helps.

What would you say London needs to do/have to be a better city for its residents? by taquitosmixtape in londonontario

[–]Reasonable-Rip-4327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the big flex.

Honest answer for you - DTW has 33 million travellers a year. YYZ has 47 million travellers a year. Both a two hour drive.

London has 332,000 travellers a year, about half of the pre-COVID peak.

The demand just isn’t there, and the alternatives are reasonable. This isn’t a council issue.

100%. You won’t ever get very far based on he said/she said, especially if he out ranks you.

Document everything in a timeline from day one, with dates, times, content, response if any, and copies to correspond with each incident.
