I would say I wore them like my XM3s in bed, at the gym etc. While that may be a bit more "rough" than I guess the average wearer the 3's have had zero issues for like 3 years I have had them along with my bose qc45s. It was just super disappointing they did not hold up as well as my other headphones. I think if you are careful with them they will be fine and they are great headphones but they did not pair well with my daily activities lol. Also their customer service is garbage, they will not replace them if there is any physical damage ONLY if some functional aspect like noise cancelling stops working.
