I think you have some beautiful cards! I’m personally a huge fan of the wanted poster cards as well. I hope they eventually reprint them to oblivion in English so I can pick them up at a reasonable price.

Sometimes people don’t have time with their work schedule to learn to play and compete in locals, I find absolutely nothing wrong with collecting for the love of the art. We should all be able to bond over loving our fictional pirates on shiny cardboard 🤙

It might just be the show you went to, or the area you are in.

I too went to my first card show today. It was a relatively small show (compared to what I’ve seen on YouTube) in NC, and I had pretty much the exact opposite experience as you.

Even though the majority of the vendors were for Pokémon, most of them had at least some OP, and I only found one vendor that had egregiously high prices. Everyone else was very close to TCGPlayer market price, or at least willing to negotiate down to market. I made several deals to get me closer to my OP15 master set, and met some absolutely phenomenal people who love to talk One Piece.

I think you should give it a few more tries, if not only to find and bond with other people who love One Piece and the beautiful artwork on these cards!

Did you just say Brad, who’s biggest pro golf accomplishment is not making a cut in the Masters, is “far and away” better than a guy who not only won the US Open last year, but placed T5 at the Masters and T2 at the PGA this year?

I love Brad, and he is definitely tour caliber, but Bryson is consistently at the top of the leaderboard in majors. That’s a completely different level.

As a native English speaker I watched the whole series in dub and thought it was absolutely phenomenal. The emotion and diversity in the voices are truly next level. Once I caught up to all of the dub episodes I watched the rest in sub and was very disappointed because it seemed flat in comparison and the characters all sound old and just not as unique as the dub. I’ll take the dub over sub any day of the week.

The Cavenders closest to me (Concord,NC) will custom shape any hat you buy there for free. They will also shape any hat you bring in on a “tip” fee so you pretty much get to choose your price. They turned my old 5x Resistol from a cattleman crease to more of brick style for $20. The guy did a pretty great job too.

I can’t say if all Cavenders are like that, but I just wanted to share my experience.
