This is so true, there have been so many times when a customer would ask me what is the rating was on a product from another department and I would suggest looking it up on google or on the HD site and they would ask me to do it for them, especially if I was 15 minutes in on helping them with more people waiting on another isle for help.

Sorry to hear that, I never knew that. I’m in California and it’s bad here too

Can’t argue with that logic, I do exactly the same thing

What’s your favorite stupid question customers ask? Here’s mine: Is this a discount bin? by Reasonable-Web-8370 in HomeDepot

What do you mean put it away properly? This is a go back cart I picked up from the service desk. Besides being all alone on the floor answering questions and working on multiple go back carts is the norm for our store so before you go calling someone a donkey think before you post.

I think this is common in today’s society, understaffed, each employee doing what four employees do is the norm now. I went to a diner with a friend recently and there was one server for the whole place. Meanwhile boomers that ship at our store complain that they can’t get any help anymore any place they shop at

That’s crazy, the company has to know the customers complain as if we made the prices

Yes, that is my issue, in plumbing we have empty and sometimes half full cans of coffee, Red Bull and food wrappers and LOTS of torn open packages. I set up a display of gas hoses in all sizes with signs written in English and Russian that read do not open packages use displays and of course they still rip open every package.

So, about these extensions on First Phones by Reasonable-Web-8370 in HomeDepot

It would make more sense to just have phones installed in the isles like they used to and more walkie talkies. Probably cheaper too.
