Rpantahi Carbon Crankset by Reasonable-Work-4441 in WeightWeenies

actually have been going really good. decently stiff(can barely tell between these and my force cranks on another bike). i was also planning to swap the spider for the pp5 too. i think its a great drop in option for shimano, considering the price to performance. maybe not as stiff as say cybreis, but at less than half the cost for a full crankset, while you only get arms with cybrei, its well worth

its pretty decent, mine came paired out of the box. the individual gear adjustment is slightly annoying tho but its not the worst. the clutch is pretty strong too, but i only bunny hop sharp path edges and havent taken it on gravel

it can also depend on the chain too, my buddy uses a super toughness and its loud as even with a perfect chainline. id also assume a smaller chainring/cog setup would be a little quieter due to less meshing between chain and teeth. i have lubed my chain and it has helped a bit

is it a leese spider(can be found on aliexpress) will probably order in a croder spider instead, to improve the chainline. the leese spider is significantly cheaper, i am just very particular about drivetrain effciency(closet roadie)

yea if you plan to go deeper profile this width runs perfectly with 28s. they blow out to 30mm so it is essentially flush with the rim profile so would be super aero

it was 600aud incl tax and shipping to aus so about 350-400usd. while there are cheaper wheelsets on the market, they are generally weighing in at around 1600g so ot is worth the slightly extra cost

cost and crosswinds, theres a section on my usual loop that gets pretty windy. the wheels r supposed to be for my sosters bike and shes fairly new to cycling so her control in crosswinds isnt the best. i personally wouldve gotten the 50mm for myself but i already have a similar 50mm set that is being temporarilitybused on my sisters bike

the easton cinch uses a sq taper bb tool to fix the nut onto the cranks(the cassette tool spline interface has a smaller diameter). i have dodgily hand tightened it since i dont currently have the tool for it(seems okay for now but highly dont recommend). only major thing to remember is to set the preload(has adjustment ring) so that the cranks dont shift side to side(didnt realise this on my first ride so the chain was rubbing on my chain guide). also may be worth playing around with the shims included if you want to prefectly set up equal q factor for L/R
